 MELT Length (Beginning, Intermediate & Advanced Classes)

Cost: $100 for a series of 5 sessions or $25 drop-in fee

Ten minutes of MELT three times a week is all you need to reduce the effects of accumulated tension and stress caused by daily living. New research has revealed the missing link to pain-free living: a balanced nervous system and healthy connective tissue. These two components work together to provide your body architectural support and optimal mind-body communication. Manual therapist and connective tissue specialist Sue Hitzmann has transformed groundbreaking neurofascial science and hands-on therapies into a one-of-a-kind treatment method called MELT. Using specialized techniques, a soft body roller, and three small balls, MELT rehydrates the connective tissue, rebalances the nervous system, and restores space to compressed joints.

P1090280Rebalance the stabilizing muscles that tend to weaken in every body regardless of activity level. The MELT method combines neuromuscular re-patterning with strengthening techniques to address the weak links that damage joints and inhibit your body’s ability to function properly. We use MELT-specific tools in this class.


Tai Chi Class

Cost: $80 monthly/2 classes a week or $15 drop in

This class starts June 5th, 2018

Chinese exercise system that uses slow, smooth body movements to achieve a state of relaxation of both body and mind, Patrick’s tai chi class incorporates the Yang, Chen, and Hsingi styles. 

 Yoga

Cost: $15 Tuesday and Thursday  9:00 – 10:00

This class is on-going

Vinyasa Yoga coordinates movements with pranayama (breath control) and a flow of asanas (poses).  Vinyasa is for yogis of all levels. Modifications will be demonstrated as well as an advanced option. We will begin by focusing on our breath.  Our flow will start with Sun Salutations, gradually building up to a peak pose, cool down poses, and ending with a rejuvinating savasana.

Yoga Basics

Cost: $15 drop in  $12 Kama’aina. Monday 8:00-9:00

Facilitator: Suzy McIntyre

This class starts July 16th

Expect an emphasis on the basic principles of alignment with a focus on foundational yoga poses.

 

All Level Yoga Flow

Cost: $15 drop in  $12 Kama’aina. Saturday 8:00-9:00

This class starts July 14th

A dynamic class connecting the flow of your breath to the flow of movement.
